The UEF, the Aeon loyalists and the remnants of the Cybran federation form the Coalition to combat the Seraphim and their Aeon followers and after a number of operations, including rescuing princess Rhianne Burke and destroying QAI, The Coalition launches an assault on the Quantum Arch to prevent more Seraphim reinforcements from coming through.
The UEF is in disarray after the loss of Earth, General Hall assumes command of the UEF's military after General Clarke is killed in a Seraphim invasion on planet Capella, while president Riley was killed back on Earth during the initial invasion. Despite overwhelming odds, the player is able to destroy the attacking Aeon and Cybran forces and slay the converted Colonel Arnold.Īfter years of peace a Quantum Arch suddenly opens on planet Earth and a Seraphim fleet starts pouring through it, laying waste to the entire planet. Soon after, the UEF's outer defences are crumbling and the Aeon launch an assault on Earth and the Black Sun device while the Cybran also attack the installation. Later on it turns out that he did not actually die, instead, he was converted by princess Rhianne Burke of the Illuminate. The player is guided through the mission by a Colonel Arnold, he takes on a mentor role until he is killed in a Aeon attack on a planet named Matar. The player starts as a rookie lieutenant and eventually reaches the rank of Colonel as he progresses through missions. It was a weapon that, when fired through the quantum gates, had the power to destroy whole planets. This could not have happened at a worse time, the UEF was in the last stages of completing the weapon that would end this war, this weapon was named Black Sun. The Aeon offensive operations had just recently started to escalate. General Clarke had demanded that the UEF armies would abandon the outer colonies and reposition along a defensive perimeter closer to their core worlds but the leader of the UEF, President Riley demanded that the armies of the UEF stood their ground against overwhelming odds. The UEF had stretched its military resources too thin and because of that, the UEF's defences could not hold against the Aeon and the Cybrans. The UEF population is firmly behind the quest to establish order and unity in the galaxy, UEF citizens are firm believers in this ideology and their leaders pursue this goal without hesitation.Īfter a thousand years of fighting the infinite war against the Cybran Federation and the Aeon Illuminate, the UEF found itself on the losing side. The UEF succeeded for the most part, a very large portion of the galaxy was under its control.
That goal was to reunite the galaxy, under their rule. The United Earth Federation, or UEF, is a coalition of humans, bound together under a single banner and a single goal. From the ruins of the old Earth Empire arose the United Earth Federation, an old idea made new.
